As part of its corporate social responsibility and commitment to supporting humanitarian and developmental initiatives, Theeb Rent a Car has contributed to supporting Lajlehum Association for Serving People with Disabilities through a set of qualitative initiatives aimed at empowering people with disabilities and enhancing their integration into society.

This support includes sponsoring one section of the “Tibyan Quran Application” project, which is dedicated to translating and interpreting the Holy Quran into sign language. The initiative aims to enable people with hearing disabilities to access and understand the meanings of the Holy Quran, allowing them to engage with the Book of Allah through an accessible and innovative approach.

The “Tibyan Quran Application” is recognized as a pioneering project that has received widespread acclaim. Lajlehum Association was awarded the King Faisal Prize for Service to Islam for the year 2025 for this project, as it is the first application of its kind to facilitate the understanding and contemplation of the Holy Quran in sign language for people with hearing disabilities. The association has also received numerous awards and recognitions for its excellence in delivering innovative initiatives that serve people with disabilities and enhance their quality of life.

This initiative also witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Farhan Al Saud, Chief Executive Officer of Lajlehum Association, and Mr. Naif bin Mohammed AlTheeb, Chief Executive Officer of Theeb Rent a Car, as part of efforts to strengthen the partnership between the two parties and support initiatives serving people with disabilities.

On this occasion, Mr. Naif bin Mohammed AlTheeb, CEO of Theeb Rent a Car, stated:

“At Theeb, we believe that our role goes beyond providing mobility services to include an active contribution to community initiatives with a sustainable impact. Our support for Lajlehum Association stems from our belief in the importance of empowering people with disabilities and providing initiatives that enhance their integration into society and highlight their capabilities and creativity—foremost among them the Tibyan Quran project, which carries a profound humanitarian message.”

He added that this partnership reflects Theeb’s commitment to supporting non-profit organizations and strengthening the concept of corporate social responsibility, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to build a vibrant and integrated society.

Theeb’s support also included purchasing products from the “Made by Their Hands” store, which features creative handmade works produced by talented individuals with disabilities. This step reflects the company’s commitment to supporting national talents and promoting artistic and creative endeavors within this community.

Furthermore, the contribution extended to benefiting from training programs offered by the Riyadah Institute, affiliated with Lajlehum Association, with Theeb employees participating in these programs. This reflects the integrated nature of the partnership and the exchange of expertise in development and capacity-building fields, in addition to supporting several other areas related to the association’s activities and programs.

This step comes as an extension of the Theeb Alkhair Program’s approach to supporting community and humanitarian initiatives and strengthening partnerships that achieve a sustainable positive impact on society.
